On July 3, Seattle attempted to break the world record for the biggest zombie flash mob. I'm not sure, but I THINK we really did beat it--the unofficial estimate is over 6,000, and they're not done counting the actual registered participants. Even if we somehow didn't, it was ridiculously fun. From left to right are my friend Shawnie, my buddy Tanya (as Jem from Jem and the Holograms) and me, the zombie flapper. I even made it into the Seattle Times gallery, which was AWESOME.
We do one here every October, but never on this kind of scale--it was completely insane (and nice to be able to go on one without freezing the whole time). They called it the 'Red, White, and Dead Block Party' and I really hope they do something similar next July.
Hee, thanks. My friend on the left's took us AGES, but it was worth it. I wound up getting fake blood all over the inside of my car, though, which I still haven't cleaned out. XD It's still too hot here to want to be anywhere but in the shade.

Yea, I suppose October in Seattle would probably be alot like....Upper Michigan in October. If it is that would be pretty chilly....but it would be worth it.
that would sure be something to explain if you ended up getting pulled over .
Yeah, on average it's about 38 degrees and windy, and if you're lucky it starts raining AFTER it's over. It really is worth it, though.
And yeah, you definitely get some funny looks from other drivers, though this time there were so many zombies on the road that EVERYONE was getting looked at weird. XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
